I was in Sarah's new program called Bump Birth Build. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but believe me when I say that you are getting an experience. Each week outlined exactly what you would do, a questionnaire with reflections for yourself and additional resources. Sarah is a wonderful person to have as your coach. She is knowledgeable about nutrition, and is always looking to continue learning and adding to her expertise.  She  checks in frequently to keep you accountable such as checking in each week on your progress, and through your coaching calls. She really makes you dig deep into your reflections and the reasoning of "why". She gets to know you on a personal level and works hard to give you ways to be successful and obtain your goals. Sarah is great at what she does, and I highly recommend her. for any class that you choose to take. ~ Ashley B.

Bump Birth Build -

I’ve expanded my knowledge on the importance of nutrition. Not only the physical side of things but also the mental well-being side. I’m more mindful of how nutrition impacts my mood and energy levels. I learned how to gather resources to help keep myself on track. I became aware of what my body was missing in its diet, and once that was identified, how to continue to incorporate those certain nutrients. This program helped solve some myths about those who are trying to conceive, who are pregnant, and who is postpartum. - Ann.

“Sarah's pre/post-natal class was great! I joined the class as I wanted to build back some strength after my baby. I also wanted to be mindful of the changes my body has gone through and pursue appropriate exercises. It was so refreshing to meet Sarah and see how she values fitness and wellness, especially from a mom's perspective. She demonstrates this personally and professionally. Sarah checked in before, during and after exercises to see how I was feeling and was informative & accommodating if I needed to alter any movement. I'm very happy that Sarah is bringing this knowledge and class focus to the West End as it's a great way to stay focused on exercise and meet other moms in the community. “- Tori A.

Postpartum Strength Training and Nutrition Coaching -

Sarah did an excellent job educating me on why I was prescribed specific exercises. I learned lots of new exercises (good variety) to help me gain strength and heal postpartum. Her effort in helping me find meal/food ideas was good and she answered my questions about nutrition and exercise in detail that was easy to understand. Sarah had a 10/10 attitude during my coaching calls. She gave good advice and focus to make the program work for me. I’m going to circle back to everything I learned for my next postpartum journey! I recommend Sarah as a fitness coach and nutrition coach for moms! - Anonymous.

She provides creative and motivating workouts and establishes an atmosphere of trust without judgement.” —Joey Lynn S.

"I reached out to Sarah knowing about her passion for health, fitness, and the ability to want to train others to reach their fitness goals. Before working with Sarah, I was very self-conscious about the way I looked and felt. I was ready to make a behavioral change! Sarah also has a background in nutrition and was ready to help me explore new, healthier foods to my diet. Sarah helped me choose a plan that was right for me. I feel stronger, healthier, and all around more balanced after training with Sarah." - Grace R.

“I would highly recommend Sarah (Young) Metsaars as your fitness coach as she starts her new business. I was recovering from a hand and shoulder injury and my physical therapist suggested I continue my workouts with a personal trainer. Sarah’s vast knowledge and understanding of what I needed, guided me through each training session. She is energetic, informed, and compassionate about fitness. I would not be where I am today without her help and patience.” - Cheryl C.

“I’ve had the knowledge (for a long time) that I need veggies in my daily diet.  I thought I did pretty well.  Sarah has educated me on vitamins, minerals, hydration, carbs and protein and I now know where the holes are in my consumption habits.  Not too much at one time, but a steady flow of information that helps me make sure my body is getting the right stuff and the right amount of it.  Thank you, Sarah!”

”I’m 64 and have a fair amount of partially working body parts (think creaky). Sarah took notes on what I can/can’t do and tailored a 3 times a week work out which has steadily built muscle and improved core strength. I’m now able to walk up the steps from the garage with little to no knee pain. I’m half way through Sarah’s 6 month program and am confident that I’ll get to the point where I can get up and down off the floor quicker and easier that when we started the program.”- Sue S.

“Sarah showed me that what I have been eating wasn’t comprehensive in giving my body it’s needs. After going through half the program, I am making better food choices and understand that I need to continue that practice. I’ve been on many diets but with the program Sarah put together for me, I’m slowly losing the weight and seeing progress! I’m a happy camper!”

“My hip was replaced a couple years ago and with Sarah’s training, it seems to be less painful when doing everyday tasks and when exercising. I also see the difference that exercise is making when I look in the mirror.  I feel better about myself and am motivated to continue exercising. My doctor told me I needed to exercise and lose weight to lower my blood pressure.  The last time I went in, my doctor couldn’t believe the changes.  She said she tells most people to exercise and lose weight, but not many make the life changes needed.” - Dan S.
