Prenatal Strength Coaching

I’m a mom of two who loves strength training but had no guidance on how to keep myself and my baby safe or how to make adjustments for the symptoms I was experiencing. So, I became that resource. I help first time moms build strength that actually supports you through pregnancy, birth, and recovery. That means workouts designed to protect and strengthen your pelvic floor and core, help you move freely, and prepare for birth. Pregnancy isn’t the time to push through. It’s a time to train smart, move well, and feel strong in a body that’s constantly changing. Postpartum Strength Coaching

Postpartum strength training isn’t about “bouncing back”. It’s about moving forward. Your mind and body just did something incredible, and now it’s time to continue with that strength and rebuild muscle the right way. That means workouts that actually help regain function of your core and pelvic floor muscles, not make it worse, and a well-structured easy to adhere to strength training program to handle mom life without aches, pains, or feeling like a complete stranger in your own body. You deserve a plan that makes your life easier, not harder. 1 on 1 Nutrition coaching for first time mothers.

I help first time moms stay well-nourished and ready to take on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery with confidence.  Think of me as your personal pregnancy and postpartum nutrition navigation system - but instead of shouting at you in a foreign language I make sure you understand why and how you are eating the right foods to keep you energized, support healing, and fuels you and your baby (and your cravings) without the useless diets or ‘bounce back’ bullshit. Growing a tiny human is hard enough. You deserve to feel strong, energized, and supported every step of the way.

  • Bump Birth Build is my 12 week prenatal and postpartum nutrition coaching program for first time moms who want to know exactly what to eat to have a healthy pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding experience. 

  • If you’re someone who struggles with knowing exactly what to eat to fuel your body (and baby’s) during pregnancy or getting enough nutrients in postpartum then this program is definitely for you!

  • Bump Birth Build is designed specifically for first time mothers like you who want to nourish their body’s for better pregnancy outcomes, better postpartum recovery, and a better milk supply without giving up your favorite foods and honoring your cravings. 

  • When you work with me inside of Bump Birth Build you will learn how to cue into your body’s physiological cues, ensure food and nutritional quality, plan and prepare food in a way that works well with your schedule, preferences, and budget, all while knowing that you are providing essential nutrients not only to yourself but your growing baby as well. 

  • You’ll also be able to easily adapt your nutrition to any situation, whether that be food aversions/cravings, altered diet during breastfeeding, traveling, or day by day circumstances. 

  • By the end of the program you will know exactly how to eat and manage food choices for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding without having to ask Google for anything. You’ll also build foundational nutrition skills that are essential for consistency within your nutrition habits that will set you up for long term success (we’re talking wayyyyy beyond postpartum here!) 

  • Again, this program is 12 weeks long and includes short and concise educational presentations about prenatal and postpartum nutrition, resources to help guide and support you through each phase, weekly e-mail check ins for accountability, support and guidance, and 3 30-minute deep dive coaching calls to make sure you are staying on course to reaching your goals (check ins and calls are where the customization happens!).

Hey, I’m Sarah! I’m just your run of the mill stay at home mom of two who enjoys a healthy balance of exercise and nutrition, meaning moving my body and feeding it nutrient dense foods is very important to me but there are no hard rules and no restrictions on food. I believe all food can be a part of a healthy diet and the approach that works best is the one that is easy to adhere to, keeps you energized and feeling satisfied, includes all types of food (yes, even the dirtiest of them all), and is fun and doable across all decades of life. I got in to strength training my senior year of high school when I was so weak that I could barely carry a case of water (yes, like your typical case of bottled water that you can get at any grocery store). It has been an important part of my life, especially as a mom trying to do it all while carrying a baby on my hip and a toddler on my back (or foot, or leg, or you get it). Strength training helps me feel strong, powerful, and independent. I know I’m doing well by my body with the hopes that it will do well for me as I age and as the activities with my kids get more demanding. I don’t want to be stuck in a workout for long so efficiency and consistency is key for me. I come with a lot of knowledge and education but know when it comes to coaching moms that, while knowing why and how to do everything I prescribe and coach is crucial and necessary, time is of the essence and providing a customized prenatal or postpartum strength training program or nutrition program that gets you the results you’re looking for in the most realistic time frame that fits in well with your schedule is what actually works.
